Újra sínen - Back on Track

Jó sokáig eltűntem, a nyár valahogy nem kedvezett a hímzésnek. Rengeteget dolgoztam, az esti hímzőidőt is sokszor beáldoztam, vagy ha nem, akkor perceken belül leragadt a szemem. És persze nyaraltunk is, ha nem is sokat, egy 2 1/éves kíváncsi fiúval kész kiképzőtábor a nyaralás! De azután összekaptam magam hímzésileg, és az IHSW tiszteletére befejeztem a vonatom utolsó előtti oldalát. Megnéztem, több, mint 3 hónapig húztam.

I have disappeared for quite a while, summer somehow disagrees with stitching this year. I have worked overtime, even sacrifying my stitching time in the night, or if not, then I fell asleep in a minute. And of course we went on holiday, althought not for a big one. With a 2 1/2 year old son holiday is worse than a military camp:) But for August IHSW I got myself together and finished the last but one page of the Train. I have checked it took more than 3months!

Örömtánc / Happy Dance

Készen lettem az Őszikerttel!!!! A Chatelaine befejezetlenprojektirtó verseny (WIP killing contest, tudtok rá jobbat?) eredményeként pici késéssel, de befejeztem az Őszikertet, remélem a 30 perccel éjfél utáni zárás nem jelent diszkvalifikációt. Ha igen, akkor is megérte:))). Nem is szaporítom a szót, beszéljenek a képek, jó sok!

Happy dance, I am ready with the Autumn Knotgarden! The Chatelaine WIP killing contest gave me enough encouragement to finish my first big Chatelaine, and hopefully the 30 minutes delay to midnight 31 May is not a disqualifying momentum. In case yes, I do not mind, I am delighted with my result and the motivation I got from the contest. Thanks for organising! And I do not write any more, let the photos tell the rest. And there is many of them!

IHSW ősziesen - Autumnal IHSW

Most hétvége elvileg a hímzésnek, gyakorlatilag a családnak szentelődött, de egy kicsit azért haladtam az Őszikerttel. Nagyon szép ez a rész amit most hímzek, de rettenetesen megszenvedtem, mire rájöttem hogy is működnek a Jessica öltések. Ezek a kis kék kör alakú őszirózsák oldalt, és az elsőnek minimum 10x nekifutottam és visszabontottam mire jó lett. Még nem tökéletes, de rajta vagyok... Ez az Őszikert utolsó része, 2 oldalt a kék és narancs virágok (őszirózsa és napraforgó, csak hogy tudjátok :))) ) valamint a sarkokban a csipkebogyók, és utána már csak a gyöngyözés és kész! This weekend - in theory - was about IHSW and stitching, but life and family was calling me, so there was only a small progress on the last part of Autumn Knotgarden. This part is really beautiful, the blue Auster flowers, orange sunflowers, and the rosehips in the corners are pleasure to look at, but I had quite a fight with the Jessica stitches in the Austers. I started and frogged the first at least 10 times, maybe more, till I gave up, asked some help from the yuku forum, and with this help I managed to stitch after the 3rd trial:))) Still not perfect, but working on, there is 8x8=64 jessicas around the center, way to improve! This is the last part of the design, after finishing the corners, the top and the bottom sides only the beading remains, and ready! Click on for the details

Haladok, haladok - I am on my way

Befejeztem a 18. oldalt a vonatból, bár a sok munkám miatt kicsit lassabban, mint terveztem, de kész! Nézzétek a keretet, már csak 2 van hátra, de egy kicsit félreteszem az Őszikert miatt. A nagynál már érdemes kattintani, mert olyan hatalmas, hogy nem látszik a fotón rendesen.

I have finished page 18th of the train, due to the huge amount of tasks at work a little later than planned, but at least it is ready! Look at the sideline, there is only 2 pages left, but now I am going back to Autumn Knotgarden. Dilemma

A hosszú hétvégén  nagyon jól haladtam a vonattal, a új oldalnak 2/3a készen van. Tiszta felüdülés volt az előző oldal rengeteg színváltása után a nagy egységes felületeket kitölteni. De most nagy dilemmába kerültem, szívem szerint, ha már ilyen lendületben vagyok, akkor befejezném ezt az oldalt, és csak akkor kezdeném az Őszikertet.

De! Tegnap megérkezett az Őszikert befejező része, és nagyon kíváncsi vagyok rá, valamint az sem elhanyagolható, hogy beneveztem a Chateleine befejező versenyre, és ott május 31 a határidő, hogy kész legyen az Őszikert is. A tavaszikert esélytelen, és ha vonatozok, az Őszikert sem biztos. Szóval hezitálok, hezitálok. Addig is 2 fotó:

In the long weekend I made a real good progress on my little train, 2/3 of the new page is ready. It was a real pleasure to fill in the big homogenous blocks after the confetti of the prevoius page. But now I am facing a big big problem. To tell you the truth I would rather finish this page till I am in the mood, and start Autumn Knotgarden only after that.

But! Yesterday the last part was published, and not only I am really curious of the final design, but I entered the Chatelaine WIP Killing Contest, where the deadline is 31 May to finish my WIPs. Spring KG is out of the question, but Autumn is feasible - but it is in a real danger if I stick to my train now. So I have a Dilemma. But till I am hesitating here you are some photos:

Befejeztem a 17. oldalt, már csak 3 van hátra! Ez az oldal elég lassan ment, rengeteg ciráda és konfetti volt benne, de készen vagyok. Még hónap végéig folytatom, de ha megjön az Őszikert vége, akkor azt fogom gyorsan befejezni.  A közeli fotót úgy nézzétek, hogy kipróbáltam a szkennelést, én nem sok különbséget látok a fotóhoz képest.

I have finished page 17, only 3 more to go! This was quite a slow one, full of fancy confetti, but at least is is over. I will work on the next page till the end of the month, but when the last part of Autumn Knotgarden is out I want to finish that.

Hasznos IHSW / Productive IHSW

A hímzős hétvégén a vonattal foglalkoztam, és haladtam is vele. Sajna elég lassan ment, mert kocsi aranymintája ugyan igen mutatós, de legalább annyira munkás is, rengeteg színnel készül, és ami egyfélének látszó sárga, az is legalább 4-5 színből áll össze. De megéri! Nézzétek meg a fotókat, egyre közelebbről készítettem őket.

During IHSW I was working on my train. It is not a quick process, because the golden scrolls on the carriage are gorgeous, but need a lot of time and patience. I used zillion of colours for all the confetti, and even those yellow lines which look one colour are made up of 4-5 different ones. But it definitely worth, check out the zoomed photos!
