IHSW November

Bezzeg a Kreinik!

The weekend flew away quickly, but I am (not) a little overestimated my speed and stitching time. My Cherub is partly done, let's say 1/3, and it is an overstatement. She has a face, a candle, but all the beads are still missing. The sparkly thread is Kreinik, and now I understand why people are complaining about metallics. Up to now I used only Rainbow Gallery Petite Treasure Braid, and never had any problem. Well, with Kreinik...I am really glad to get my Thread Heaven, it made a way better, but still, it was not an easy pie.

Mirabilia: 2006 Cherub (freebie)
Anyag /Fabric: Zweigart Belfast(32ct) Platinum
Fonal / Floss: Anchor, DMC, Kreinik

And I could not resist Autumn Knotgarden, this small spider really wanted to meet you.

  Chatelaine: Autumn Knotgarden
Fonal/Floss: DMC + many silks as suggested in the kit
Anyag/Fabric: Zweigart antique white 32 ct Belfast

Your Autumn Knotgarden is coming along nicely. The spiderweb looks so cute, and I don't like spiders :)

I want to stitch a cherub before the year is over! I love your expression "not an easy pie" describes metaliics perfectly!
Thanks for joining my advent calendar.
