Baby book for a boy

I have created a baby book for my husband's aunt, who took it to a baby shower of her neighbour's baby boy. She was a designer and when she closed her shop she gave me a lots of supernice fabrics. I tried to use then in the pictures, and I really like the results!

I also tried to document how I put the book together. The inner pages should be 1/2 inch smaller than the covering ones. The original size of the cover is 6 1/2 ", the final one after turning in the pages somewhere around 6"

Textil usage is real small, less than 0.5m for all of the book.

Berci

I have a new nephew called Berci (Bertalan), and I made this littlequilt for him. It is 70x120 cm, fits into his bed perfectly. He likes it a lot, at least he is smiling when I am checking him under or over the quilt!

I took me a little bit longer than a week to finish, and I used all my fabric from stash. I found the picture on etsy with DiamondGardenQuilts, and I made a customised version for the little guy.

Andris komoly nagyfiúvá vált, és elérkezett az ideje, hogy rendes ételt egyen - előkével! Karácsonyra megleptem egy macival. Nagy meglepetés, hogy 2010 decemberében kapta meg.

Izabella Ballerina

2 keresztlányunk van, Anna és Izabella. Izát névnapjára megleptem egy babaköszöntővé átalakított Country Cottage mintával. Remélem tetszik neki a táncoslánykák sora, én nagyon élveztem a hímzést.

I am godmother for 2 girls, for Anna and Izabella. I surprised Iza for her nameday with this specialised Country Cottage piece. I hope she likes the row of little ballerinas, I really enjoyed stitching them.

Megérkezett Andris! / Andris had arrived!

Az idő gyorsan telt, és megszületett Andris. Érkezése örömére készítettem egy babaköszöntőt, és mivel nagyon jó baba volt (még mindig az...) alig 2 hét alatt, 2010 májusában be is fejeztem. Barikat a kis kosnak!

Time was flying, Andris, my son had arrived. I have prepared this piece to welcome him, and since he was (and is) a really good baby, I could finish this in 2 weeks, in May, 2010. Little sheep for the little Aries!
