Itt a tél - Winter is back

Kicsit haladtam a Télikerttel, nagyon szép lesz, de rendesen munkás. És a képen nem is látszik igazán, hogy mennyi fehér van benne (na életben sem virít, hogy 3-4féle ami a fehér...) De nagyon kikapcsol, ez is megerősíti a Chatelaine rajongásom.

I made some progress on Winter Knotgarden, it is a huge amount of work, but worth every minute. I am a confirmed Chatelaine fun! And the photo does not even shows the 3-4 types white on the white background (well, you can hardly distinguish in real life either...)

Traktorozás - On the Farm

Kész a fiú, a kutyus, és a traktor körvonalazása. Sőt, még tovább is jutottam: a 3ből már egy bari rajta ül az utánfutón, és nem mondhatni, hogy fű sem terem amerre járnak! Még szemtelenek az utasok, a franciacsomókat a végére hagyom.

Backstitching is ready for the boy, his doggie and the tractor. And I managed to finish one sheep, but it is kind of impossible to see without the backstitching - just imagine the big bundle as a flurry one! The eyes will be french knots for everyone, I leave all of them to the end.

Karácsonyi meglepik - Christmas Surprises

Tavaly karácsonyra kaptam egy adag meglepit előre, hogy amikor van időm hímezgessem őket. Aprók, de nagyon küzdelmesek, mert extrakemény aida van a készletben, és nem leszámolós, hanem előre nyomott. A 4ből 2 kész!

Last Christmas I have received some small surprises to finish whenever I have time. They are smallish, but take my time: the fabric in the kit is an extremely hard aida, and it is not charted but printed, so I need a few weeks to recover after each one. 2 is ready, 2 more to go...

Márciusi IHSW March

Újra eltelt egy hónap, és most megpróbálom nem 2hetes késéssel felrakni a hétvége eredményét. Nem túl sok, mert sok idő ment el a készlet összerakásával - fonalak összeszedése, minta nyomtatása, szerkesztése, hogy könnyebben menjen a munka, ugyanis újba kezdtem: a Télikert a soros. A nyári sincs messze, de a hétvégi hóvihar tiszteletére a Télikerttel kezdtem. A tavaszi és az őszikert testvére, és váltásnak beköszön majd hamarosan a nyári is!

One more month flew by, and I am trying my best to keep up with IHSW. Not too much, because I spent most of the time with putting the kit together, printing and enlarging chart  - because I have a new start: Frosty Knotgarden. After Autumn and Spring Summer is tagging along, but I gave in to General Winter: he has visited Hungary this weekend. 

Actually it was an emergency state in Hungary due to the weather, the western highways were closed down for a day, and many people stuck on the road for 20-25 hours! My Grandpa is 89 years old and he told me he had never experienced such weather in his whole life - and it is right, at this time of the year we usually take our spring coats, or even a shirt is enough!

Jobb későn mint soha - IHSW - Better later than never

És ami majdnem kimaradt: nem henyéltem az IHSW hétvégén, csak a feltöltés lassult le kicsit. Elkezdtem a vonat mellé egy traktort, bár ez jóval gyorsabban halad, de az időm jóval kevesebb, szóval ki tudja...Ez kb a negyede a teljes képnek, de még hiányzik a kontúrozás.

And what almost missed, but not: IHSW weekend was productive, but the upload a little bit late. I have started a little tractor to accompany the Train. It is a much smaller design, but my time is definitely less, so who knows which is going to be a quicker finish... This is the quarter of the design, but no backstitching yet.
